Officially, Perez is President of Real Madrid until 2029
Real Madrid announced on its website, that Florentino Perez will continue as president of the Royal Club until 2029.
The club said: "Florentino Perez is president of Real Madrid until 2029."
He added: "The Hall of the Board of Directors in Real Madrid sports hosted the inauguration ceremony of Florentino Perez, president of Real Madrid and its board of directors."
Perez had assumed the presidency of Real Madrid for a period between July 18, 2000 to February 27, 2006, then returned and took over the club since 2009.
Real Madrid managed to achieve 65 titles under the chairmanship of Florentino Perez with 37 football titles, and 28 basketball championships.
