Italian Massimiliano Allegri, former Juventus coach, has made his decision regarding coaching the Saudi Al-Ahly team during the coming period.

Saudi press sources reported that Allegri agreed to lead the technical helm. For Al-Raqi, succeeding German Matthias Jaisse.

Reports indicated that Allegri will sign Al-Ahly’s training contract within the next two days.

The Al-Ahly club is moving to sign a contract with Allegri to lead the first team after taking the decision to oust coach Yaisla due to the instability of results under his leadership this season.

For his part, informed sources said that Al-Ahly Jeddah Club is moving towards contracting with a temporary coach until the end of the current season, with Allegri taking over responsibility starting next summer.

The sources explained, Al-Ahly wants to bring in former Udinese coach Gabriele Cioffi to lead the team until the end of the current season, after which Allegri will take over.
