Al-Yasiri criticizes the arbitration team and demands that the Federation provide foreign teams

Colonel and member of the administrative body of the Police Club, “Tahseen Al-Yasiri,” stated after his team’s draw against Naft Maysan:

And the “match referee who ruled our match against Naft Maysan” spoke. Salem Amer, there are many matters for which he was sued, especially in the last match in which he expelled defender Manaf Younis, and I believe that when he is a referee for a specific team, he is sued for several cases.”

And continue “If the referees were Youssef Saeed or Salem Amer, then we would worry about the matches they were leading for the police team, and that one of the Maysan Oil players had a yellow card and caused a penalty kick, so he did not show the red card in his face.”

He stated, “I think that last season the refereeing situations were better perhaps than this season, and in the previous season we saw a lot of foreign referees refereeing in the league and we were not affected by them.” 

He concluded his statement by saying, “I think we need foreign referees to referee matches in the Iraq Stars League at the present time.”
