The management of Al-Ittihad Club clarified its position on the departure of Ahmed Al-Ghamdi, the team’s star, after several local and foreign offers for him arrived in the recent period.
In this regard, the journalist indicated Athlete Saad Al-Subaie said that Ahmed Al-Ghamdi has serious local offers from major and foreign clubs in order to obtain his services during the current winter transfer period.
Al-Subaie stated that the Union’s administration rejects Al-Ghamdi’s departure at the present time, and revealed that one of the offers submitted amounted to 40 million riyals in exchange for purchasing his contract.
Ahmed Al-Ghamdi is considered among the Saudi talents nominated to participate in the European professional experience, following in the footsteps of Marwan Al-Sahafi and Faisal Al-Ghamdi’s transfer from Al-Ittihad to Belgian Beerskot this season.
