Al-Ahly stops negotiations with Akram Tawfiq
The journalist, Mohamed Shabana, said in radio statements that Al-Ahly management had stopped negotiating with the team’s star, Akram Tawfiq.
The player's contract with the Red Giants expires at the end of this season.
Shabana said in radio statements that Al-Ahly management informed the player's agent that the club's final offer is 45 million pounds over three years, in addition to an advertising contract to be signed.
He added: "The player wants to sign for three years for 30 million per season, which the management rejects."
He concluded: “The agent has been informed of the necessity of announcing his final position during the coming period, whether by renewal, or officially announcing his departure.”
