The English newspaper "Daily Mail" said that Kyle Walker refused to play in the Saudi League, as he informed the competition officials that he wanted to continue in Europe.
Kyle Walker's contract with City extends until June 2026.
Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola had announced that the player had asked to leave the team in the current winter Mercato.
Guardiola said in statements published by famous journalist Fabrizio Romano: “Two days ago, Kyle asked to explore options to play abroad and end his career with the team.”
