Hamdi Fathi continues with Al-Wakra
Mohamed bin Fahd, the official spokesman for the Qatari Al-Wakra Club, revealed the position of Hamdi Fathi, the team’s midfielder, regarding the move to Al-Fateh Saudi Arabia during the winter transfer period this January.
Press reports, today, Sunday, stated that Al-Fateh Club requested the inclusion of Hamdi Fathi from Al-Wakra on loan until the end of the current season.
Bin Fahd said in his statement that Hamdi Fathi is continuing with Al-Wakra and there is no intention to neglect his services this winter, despite Al-Fateh’s desire to include him.
Hamdi Fathi will join the ranks of Al-Ahly next June to participate with them in the 2025 Club World Cup, after which he will return to his current team, Al-Wakrah.
