The Royal Army Club achieved a historic achievement by qualifying for the quarter-finals of the African Champions League after tying with Raja Athletic Club in the fifth round of the group stage, ensuring its place among the top 8 teams in the competition for the first time since 1988.


The Royal Army revived its coffers with significant financial gains as a result of its qualification to the quarter-finals, where the club will receive $900,000 from the Confederation of African Football (CAF), in addition to an additional $100,000.
