Manchester United coach Ruben Amorim appeared in a press conference, to talk about Sunday’s match against Arsenal, in the third round of the FA Cup.

The coach said: “ At this moment I'm living day by day. What I'm thinking about is that we have one week without any matches, we had a rest day and we can work with the team a little bit.

He added: "We have to. To play with the best team and win and continue what we have done recently. I am not thinking about this The way because we are in a difficult moment. My focus is more on our week. In the cup you never know, sometimes it is better to win this type of match and then have less time to rest. We just want to win this game and then think about the next one.”

On the FA Cup, which will be his first experience: “I see what everyone else sees. It's a really old competition with a lot of history, we've won some cups and we want to continue. At this stage we already have a really strong match and we want to win it and we want to improve the image and performance.”

And about the transfer market and whether some players will be sold to enhance financing for new deals: “ We need to improve recruitment, so that when we target players, we are sure they can handle the demands, and we also need to improve our academy. Young guys who feel the club in the right way and do some business have money to invest in the team.”

He stressed: “Our idea is always to keep the best players and build this club, but I am happy.” I really love our players, especially the players from the academy.”

Regarding the renewal of Kobe Maino’s contract, which expires in the summer: “My team’s players are always my favorites, so I want to keep my players. It is a special moment in this club, it is a difficult moment but I am really happy with Kobe’s improvement.”

He stressed: “I think we rotated more in the parts where we were trying to figure out The type of players we have, then a lot of players are coming back from injuries and we've been rotating less, looking at some of the players in the positions and trying to put some new legs on. Now we have time to train a little more and work on set pieces. We struggled a lot in the last game, so we'll see. I don't rotate because I want to rotate. I try to find out the best solutions for each match.”

And about Rashford’s future: “We will see. Let's focus on the match, Rashford and Koy Maino are available, they are training and we will see the lineup for the match.”
