Dr. Ahmed Gaballah, Al-Ahly club doctor, revealed that the x-rays that Ashraf Dari, the team’s defender, underwent, revealed that he suffered a strain in the posterior muscle.
Dari was exposed to the injury. During his participation in Al-Ahly’s match against Smouha, last Tuesday, he was substituted between halftime.
Jaballah said in statements to Al-Ahly’s official website that Dari immediately began implementing a physical therapy and physical rehabilitation program to prepare him to return to group training again.
Kohler Dari was excluded from Al-Ahly’s squad to face Abidjan Stadium, which will be held next Saturday, as part of the fifth and penultimate round of the group stage of the African Champions League.
