Hazem Emam, the former Zamalek star, attacked Al-Ahly player Imam Ashour after celebrating with the "balloon".

Emam Ashour scored the second goal in Al-Ahly's match against Smouha, which ended with Al-Ahly winning by two clean goals.

While celebrating the goal he scored, Ashour inflated a white balloon and then ran over it.

Hazem Imam said on the “On Time Sports” channel: “The topic of Imam Ashour’s celebration with the balloon is provocative, and I see that he is the one who will lose the most, and he is putting pressure on himself and is not smart.”

He added: “Imam Ashour is a very good player, but he is not smart and always puts himself under pressure, and this is the most difficult thing for a football player.”

He continued: “Zamalek was one of the reasons for Imam’s fame, and he did nothing bad about it. If he had thought 1%, he would not have done that, but he certainly did not think about the matter, and if there would be a problem (I came back to him).”

He continued: “If Imam Ashour had gone to Al-Ahly from the Border Guard or Al-Mahalla, he would not have been in the current stardom, but Zamalek is the reason for his stardom.”

He continued: “Abdullah Al-Saeed, for example, Al-Ahly fans were very angry with him, but people respect him now, because he does not provoke anyone, and that is why he is playing until now.”

He concluded: “Imam Ashour embarrasses Al-Ahly management and Captain Mahmoud Al-Khatib with his actions because Al-Ahly does not care about these things, and they do not like this talk.”
