Press reports said that Wydad Sports Club is close to finalizing a deal to include Fahad Mofi, defender of the Croatian club Hajduk Split.
The Moroccan newspaper "Hesport" confirmed that Hicham Ait Menna, president of Wydad, had agreed with the Moroccan star on all the financial details related to the contract.
The newspaper also reported that the two parties had reached a preliminary agreement stipulating that the player would move to Wydad in the current winter Mercato.
Wydad currently occupies sixth place in the Moroccan league standings with 27 points.
