Van Dijk: We are not looking at this, and the result could have been worse
Liverpool star Virgil van Dijk spoke to the media, following the 2-2 draw against Manchester United, in the twentieth round of the English Premier League.
Van said Dyche: “The result could have been much worse, if we are completely honest with ourselves. They had a great chance before the end of the match, and the situation could have been worse.”
He added: “I'm definitely disappointed by the waste The points are at home, but this is the case and we have to move forward and we will do that.”
He added: “We tied and then advanced 2-1 and it is about trying to manage the match and keep the ball for more.” From three and four passes. We lost the ball easily at times and then we were more open than we should be. We are not perfect. We are still learning and we have to learn from today’s match.”
And about whether they entered the match underrated Manchester United would say: "This talk was just in the media. Media talk. It has nothing to do with us. We prepared for a very difficult match as we saw today. We did not think about such things."
He concluded, “Are you in a strong position as you are at the forefront? We look at the next match, not the league table.”
