According to press sources, Al-Shamal Club recently entered into negotiations with Yasser Ibrahim, the Al-Ahly club defender, in order to include him next summer for free.

This was after the Qatari club offered the player an annual salary of up to one million dollars, equivalent to 50 million Egyptian pounds.
