Al-Hilal duo injured before facing Al-Ittihad

Al-Hilal Club announced the absence of Portuguese Joao Cancelo from the training that was held this Friday evening, in preparation for the El Clásico match against Al-Ittihad Jeddah.

Al-Hilal will meet its counterpart, Al-Ittihad, in the match that will be held at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, as part of the quarter-finals of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Cup.

Al Hilal Club explained that Cancelo was unable to attend team training due to his exposure to influenza.

He also pointed out that Serbian international Sergej Savic was present at the Mina clinic at the club’s headquarters, due to his feeling of pain in the connective muscle.

Al-Hilal confirmed that Savic will undergo an x-ray tomorrow, Saturday, to check on the injury site, and to determine his position on participating in the Al-Ittihad match, in the King’s Cup.
