Behind the scenes of Gomez’s departure and Zamalek’s contract with Gross

He added “We decided in the council that the new coach would attend the Al-Masry Club match against Port Said in the Confederation Championship from the stadium, and this is what happened with Christian Gross.”

He explained: “We managed the crisis of Gomez’s departure with complete efficiency and we contracted Gross, and among our conditions was that he be a technical director with experience in the Egyptian League or who had coached the team before.”

Ahmed Suleiman continued: “Zamalek has crossed the bottleneck and what is coming is better for the club, and the current Confederation Championship is more difficult than the current version and more difficult than the African Champions League, and there are very strong clubs in it.”
